This course is specially designed to meet the needs of new Jira users (developers, project managers, directors, and other interested users), and does not require any prior training.

At the same time, the practical examples and real-life tips and tricks are also helpful for people already familiar with Jira, but they are not exploiting it fully.

An eight-hour course, with individual modules consisting of a presentation followed by problem-solving with practical examples. There are two instructors for this course to ensure enough time for individual questions during the practical examples stage. The group will begin with a minimum of six participants, and a maximum of 16. You will need your own laptop for the course's practical stage.

• Knowledge management in general (tacit, explicit knowledge, collaboration, etc.)
• What is Confluence good for?
• Welcome screen, navigation, menu structure
• Creating content (pages, blogs, attachments, etc.)
• Building spaces, permissions
• Macros, templates, blueprints
• Searches, sorting items
• Managing attached files, links
• Possibilities for Confluence (and Jira) integrations
• Presentation and testing of interesting add-ons

• Participants have learned to fully exploit the benefits of Confluence to improve collaboration within their team.
• With the help of practical examples, they will be able to master the possibilities found in spaces, pages, blog posts and related permission settings.
• They will be able to apply numerous functions known from social media that will help drastically reduce company email traffic.
• With the help of template pages and blueprints, they will be able to make Confluence easier to use for their colleagues too.
• They will be familiar with the most commonly used macros that support the presentation and thematic structuring of content.
